The CII Centre for AI actively contributes to shaping India’s AI policy landscape by engaging with government, industry, and academia. Our public policy initiatives focus on promoting responsible AI adoption, strengthening data governance, ensuring ethical and inclusive AI use, and fostering innovation through supportive regulations. We collaborate closely with policymakers to provide industry perspectives, develop policy recommendations, and publish thought leadership papers that address national priorities such as digital inclusion, cybersecurity, and AI-readiness. The Centre aims to position India as a global hub for ethical and sustainable AI development.
